Volkswagen India will soon be launching Polo facelift in the domestic market, the hatchback is already available for sale in select European markets. The company had also showcased the near production version of the hatchback at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Rumour mills have been humming that Volkswagen could roll out updated Polo in India during the month of July. Though we have seen the Europe bound Polo during the grandiose motor show held in Geneva, but the Indian version will vary from the Europe-Spec model. Among the cosmetic tweaks, a slightly modified front fascia, revised front bumper, new fog lamp assembly and a redesigned front grille with single chrome bar. Other additions include a revamped head lights featuring silver detailing, the India-spec model will not offer LED head lights as standard feature on the entire range unlike the European model. However, it has been learnt from the sources that Led head lights could be proffered as optional in Polo range while only the top end trims could come equipped with LED head lights as standard. On the rear, a revised bumper and tweaked tail lights will be seen. A set of new alloy wheels will also come affixed in the hatchback rendering it a sportier look.
