Volkswagen in Japan has launched a unique limited edition of its small car the Up!, called the Jeans Up! for 1939000 Yen (Rs 11.57 lakh). Regular Up! variants range from 1548000 to 1890000 Yen (Rs 9.24 to Rs 11.28 lakh).
The car maker has added that they plan to make 300 units of the Jeans Up! for the Japanese market. There will be no mechanical changes to the car but to match up to the car’s unique limited edition name, VW has draped the Up! seats with blue denim style upholstery with brown borders. Even the seams on the seat upholstery and the steering wheel mirror the stitching designs seen on jeans.
Exterior design upgrades that make the limited edition stand out from the regular ones include chrome accents around the front fog lamps and chrome inserts on the door mirrors. There’s also a 10 spoke three-dimensional design for the alloys and blue decorative stickers on the doors.
