Volkswagen India has reduced the regular service cost by 24 to 44 per cent across its line-up with the introduction of three free services up to 15,000kms or one year. In an effort to build better customer relation, the company has announced an India centric enhanced after-sales approach.

Till 31 December 2018, the company offered two year/unlimited kilometre standard vehicle warranty, two year free Road Side Assistance (RSA), free service at 7,500kms/six months and paid service at 15,000kms or one year. With effect from 1 January 2019, Volkswagen has revised the standard vehicle warranty to four years or 1,00,000kms. The Road Side Assistance has been increased to four years and the company now offers three free services in one year or up to 15,000kms.

Volkswagen has now also placed a standard menu pricing across its dealer workshops in India to maintain transparency between the brand and the customers. The menu pricing comprises of all the costs that a customer could potentially incur, depending on the service required on the respective model.
