Bharat Kariya, Vashi resident had purchased a new Vento petrol variant after being told that the diesel variant had a waiting period of about 6 months. Initially, at the time of delivery Kariya raised questions over the paint stains found on the inside and on the surface of the car. At that time, he was given with an explanation that the vehicle has been parked in the workshop and may have received the spots there. Kariya later approached the company with his grievance and was assured that the matter would be looked into.

Later, Kariya approached the dealer with the problem who repaired the damage and convinced Kariya to keep the vehicle back. The forum witnessed that repairs conducted by the dealer itself prove that a faulty vehicle has been sold to Kariya and hence he is entitled to receive compensatory benefit in this regard.
