Some of the advantages that customers will be entitled to include car finance, annual maintenance contracts, free benefits including insurance, extended warranty and free road side assistance for three years. Customers will also be eligible to get various attractive offers in after sales services, including upright deals on Volkswagen genuine accessories, body & paint services and branded merchandise.

At Volksfest 2013, prospective customers will also get a chance to receive an exchange bonus of Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 20,000 on the purchase of Polo and Vento cars, respectively. This exchange offer is made available to customers though Das WeltAuto, which is Volkswagen’s pre-owned car division. Arvind Saxena, Managing Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India Private Limited, reportedly said, “On behalf of the entire Volkswagen family, I wish all our customers the continued joy of motoring and look forward to welcoming many more into the Volkswagen family during Volksfest 2013.”

Many industry experts are of the opinion that this Volksfest 2013 will help the company to strengthen the bond with its existing customer base and also in acquiring new customers. The timing of such a carnival is apt not only due to its coincidence with the upcoming festive season, but also due to the fact that poor market situation has now prevailed for over ten months. Such initiatives will only help car makers attract domestic customers and enthusiasts across the county and hence, boost sales. In the same line, Volksfest 2013 can be seen as an endeavour by the auto company to get more domestic attention in the country.

Volkswagen has recently launched Polo GT TDI in the Indian automobile market. Cross Polo is also getting good response from customers in India. Now, through Volksfest 2013, the auto maker plans to build a platform for its currently available car models. Moreover, by incorporating the exchange bonus in the Volksfest 2013, the company again opts to seek out a gain on its overall customer base and consequently, the market share. Also, with such a mega-event, the auto company looks forward to make a cushion that will help it to exploit the success of its existing car models for its upcoming launches. Definitely, some planning for achieving long term goals can be seen from Volksfest 2013 that is being held by Volkswagen.
