German automaker Volkswagen has announced the Volksfest 2016, a month-long mega carnival where existing and prospective customers can avail a range of attractive offers, benefits and assured gifts across all Volkswagen dealerships in the country. Clubbed with the festive season, potential customers also stand a chance to avail availing attractive finance offers along with assured branded gifts for every car booking.
Moreover, the automaker is also offering exclusively customised gift for every test drive along with a chance to with a Blaupunkt multimedia tablet. The Volksfest 2016 event began from October 1 and it ends on October 31. In India, the German automaker sells the Polo, Vento, Jetta, Beetle and Ameo.
Recently , Volkswagen introduced the Ameo diesel at a starting price of Rs 6.27 lakh. Powered by a 1.5L 4-cylinder TDi engine, the vehicle generates about 108bhp of power and 250Nm of max torque. it comes mated to a five-speed manual and the first-in-segment seven-speed DSG transmission. in terms of safety, it gets ABS and front airbags in the manual transmission variant, while the automatic additionally gets ESP (Electronic Stabilisation Program) and Hill Hold Control.
