The 2015 alteration of the Honda Jazz, which is expected to launch soon, was spotted with 16-inch alloy wheels, which suggests that the top-end variants of the car would come with those 16-inch allow wheels. The Honda Jazz is poised to take on Hyundai’s i20 elite in the Indian market, which is one of the hottest cars in the Indian market currently.

Honda had failed to set an impression with the first launch of its Jazz variant. The two main reasons being the lack of a diesel engine and the pricing. But now that the Indian market is up and running for such cars, like the i20 and the Volkswagen Polo, Honda’s 2015 version of the Jazz is sure to rock up the market and bite into the share of its counterparts. It is easily one of the most popular cars in demand right now. The VMT is all set to be the top-most variant in the whole line-up, which is expected sometime in mid-2015.

Equipped with all the latest stuff, like a touch-screen infotainment system that also has navigation, along with the classic Bluetooth, USB and Aux support, the Jazz has a huge leap forward from its predecessor. Based mainly on the Honda City line-up, Jazz would have its most critical parts localized. What this means is that Honda is sure to price this model in the same range as that of the i20, maybe even lesser.

The Jazz would sport a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre, i-DTEC engine. Both of them will have a standard 5-speed manual transmission while the petrol variant will also have an automatic one to offer. The pricing strategy is said to be very competitive, with prices expected to start from Rs. 4.99 lacs. The 1.5-litre, i-DTEC engine would offer a maximum torque of 200 Nm and a power of 100 PS. On the other hand, the petrol variant will churn out a maximum power of 88 PS and a maximum torque of 109 Nm.

The new architecture of this car can also be found on the City and the Vezel. The new design features what is Honda’s no technique of designing the cars and giving them a “Solid Wing Face” front.
