These three variants, according to reports, will be named Mahindra E20 T01, Mahindra E20 T2 Premium and Mahindra E20 T20 Premium + Quick2Charge. Sources claim that while one variant will feature a power steering, the other is going to get four doors. In fact, the version featuring an electric power steering is already present on the official website of the Mahindra Reva. The version of Mahindra E20 with four doors, at present, is under development but no further details regarding this version are available.

According to experts, Mahindra E20 is set to become easier to steer at low speeds after the inclusion of a power steering. The Mahindra E20 has a weight of around 830 kgs, which is a big reason behind it not being conducive for controlling in city traffic. The company has received several complaints from customers, mainly elderly people and women, in the past, who have experienced difficulties in driving the car at low speeds. Industry experts believe that addition of power steering in Mahindra E20 will help reduce the effort drivers have to put in while steering the car in city traffic, thereby increasing their comfort levels.
