BMW 1-Series has been spotted with a minor cosmetic update at the German manufacturer’s headquarter in Munich. BMW is on a verge of revamping the entire line-up with mid-life updates and facelifts. The new 1-Series hatchback follows in the wake of the 2-Series Active Tourer spotted a few days back.
The 1-Series which was spotted is wearing a little camouflage to hide the small tweaks on the grille and the inner lighting signatures of headlights and tail lamps. Similar to the update done to the 2-Series Active Tourer, the new 1 Series is expected to receive a LED treatment as currently followed by the entire BMW range. We expect the facelift to include an updated cabin, new upholstery and fancy alloy wheels.
In typical BMW fashion, the visual difference in the refurbished will require a keen eye to be distinguished. The powertrain will remain untouched but expect a slight improvement in the efficiency. The updated 1 Series would arrive later this year to keep interests engaged before the next generation hatchback is launched in 2019.
