Yamaha, the makers of some of the best motorcycles in the world has recently brought in two units of the popular YZF-R3 for test in India. The new Yamaha YZF-R3 has been stated to feature striking resemblance with similar dynamics to the R25 motorcycles in the country. In the European market, the bike is expected to be launched sometime in March this year. Reports have emerged hinting that Yamaha YZF-R3 may be showcased at the upcoming 2016 Delhi Auto Expo event. Pricing aspect has not been revealed by the company as of now, and going by anticipation it is likely to be offered at about Rs. 3.0 Lakhs.
The Yamaha YZF-R3 shall be powered by 321cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine has been mated to six-speed transmission that is capable of churning out 41.4 bhp of power with 29.8 Nm of maximum torque. As compared to the R25 the new machine generates an additional 6 Bhp of power with additional 8 Nm of torque than the R25. The new bike weighs a mere 169 kgs.
