      Hyundai's Elite i20 has been launched in the country early this week at an attractive price tag of about Rs 4.89 lakhs for the base petrol variant, whereas the base diesel variant is launched at a price tag of about Rs. 6.09 lakhs. The new i20 from Hyundai has been launched in attractive seven colour options namely - Red Passion, Pristine Blue, Mystic Blue, Star Dust, Midas Gold, Polar White and Sleek Silver. Tata Bolt has been one of the most anticipated hatchback yet to launched this year. Tata Bolt is said be based on the Vista platform, but technologically the car has undergone a complete overhaul.

      On the official site, Tata Motors has spoken in detail about its 1.2 AMT petrol Revotron turbocharged engine that may come in three switchable driving modes namely - City, Eco and Sports. Tata Motors has stated that the upcoming Bolt may be powered by 1.2 Litre MPFI Turbocharged petrol Revotron engine that impressively generates about 83 bhp of power at 5000 rpm with 140 Nm of torque at 1750 - 3500 rpm. The power-train has been combined to F-tronic automated manual transmission. Bolt may also receive, an infotainment and audio acoustics system, that has been exquisitely designed by HARMAN. Navigation and location based services system have been developed by MapMyIndia. Other vital features like wire technology for enhanced engine response, tweaked suspension works in symbioses with zero pivot subframe for improved and effortless ride. Moreover, for safety, Tata Zest comes with good safety features like ABS, EPAS, speed sensitive power steering and Active Return function. As for entertainment factor the Bolt shall come incorporated with some of the segment first features like a five-inch infotainment system. The pricing aspect is unknown for now, but it is anticipated that Tata may price the bolt hatchback under the 6 Lakhs segment.

      The newly launched Hyundai i20 Elite gets a 1.2 litre petrol engine that claims to return an impressive fuel efficiency of about 18.6 kmpl. Whereas, the diesel version is stated to be powered by 1.4 litre, U2 CRDi engine that is capable of generating about 90 PS of power with a peak torque of about 22.4 kgm. The diesel variant delivers an impressive fuel efficiency figures of about 22.54 kmpl. Five-speed manual transmission has been paired to both petrol and diesel engine options. As for safety the hatchback is loaded with features like dual airbags and anti-lock-braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution on certain variants.
