A test mule of the facelifted Mahindra Scorpio was spotted recently on the Mumbai-Pune expressway. This particular variant reveals the cosmetic changes that the SUV will get as a part of its mid-life cycle refresh.

The updated Scorpio's dimensions remain unchanged, while there are few updates on the cosmetic front. The spyshots reveal the redesigned seven-slat grille, which gets a dual-tone treatment instead of the chrome. Then, there are minor changes to the front bumper, headlamps, fog lamps with chrome and OVRMs with LED turn indicators. The SUV sports a front scuff plate and clear indicators as well, while the carmaker has equipped it with new five-spoke alloy wheels. At the back, the black applique from the current Scorpio has been tweaked with a simpler design and chrome accent over the number plate.

The facelifted Mahindra Scorpio's interior will get a mild refresh as well. We expect Mahindra to adorn it with new upholstery and equip it with the updated infotainment system from the XUV500. This is a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with a long list of apps. It is also said that there will be a new S11 trim equipped with front facing third row of seats.

We can expect the current mHawk diesel engine options to power the refreshed Scorpio. Mahindra seems to be preparing for the launch of this latest iteration of the Scorpio on 14 November, when we can expect the variant-wise prices to be announced too.
