Korean carmaker Hyundai seems to have set high hopes with its upcoming compact SUV that is popularly known as the ix25 in the international markets. The compact SUV is likely to get a new name here. Apart from it being a right hand driven vehicle, the car shall come mated to a manual transmission along with black and beige colour combined interiors. However, the base trim may get full black dashboard.
The upcoming Hyundai ix25 shall likely be offered in two diesel engine variants - possibly a 1.6-Liter that may generate about 128PS of power and a 1.4-liter engine that is capable of generating about 90PS of power. The pricing aspect is not yet been revealed by the carmaker but it is anticipated to be offered at around 10-12 Lakh bracket.
Speaking of features, the new Hyundai ix25 may receive climate control buttons, smart gear knobs and steering wheel controls. The higher variants may also get a large-touch screen infotainment system that would be compatible with reverse camera and also feature Bluetooth connectivity option, along with USB and AUX ports. Post launch it is expected to emerge as a new competitor to the likes of Renault Duster and Ford Ecosport.
