According to Honda’s plans, it is about to launch CB Unicorn 160 cc motorcycle, which will have touches of sporty looks to it. Initially, it was declared that the bike would be launched in September itself. However, later it was declared that the unveiling of the motorcycle would be delayed. In the last few months, the country has witnessed the launch of a number of motorcycles in the 150-160 cc segment. The most important names in this category are Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ and Yamaha Fazer. In this aspect, the upcoming CB Unicorn bike is expected to rival the Gixxer strongly, which was recently launched in the country.

The company has bolstered the upcoming bike such that it will be placed at par or even over the CB Trigger when it comes to power. It might as well replace the CB Trigger and will be placed just below the CBR150R in terms of price. Because the fact that CB Unicorn is the only Honda bike, which has met the expected numbers, Honda has high hopes from the upcoming sporty bike. It is expected that Honda will look forward to turn the attention of the youth from Bajaj and Yamaha as far as the sports bikes are concerned.

Gixxer might face a strong competition from this upcoming Honda bike. As expected, the engine power, performance, appearance and target customers are quite similar for the two bikes in concern. Gixxer, launched recently, has not yet been able to take the crowd into a swoon. Honda will look forward to this opportunity to cash in on the chances of grabbing a fair share of the market as far as sports bikes are concerned. This fact will only be cleared as and when the upcoming bike is launched in India. Till then, all eyes focused on the new Honda Unicorn presentation.
