Just ahead of Japanese bikemaker Honda finalizing developments on its much awaited 250cc super-sport concept motorcycle, sources have already rendered the images of the production variant. The company a while ago had stated that the concept version would be closer to the production variant of CBR 250RR. Post launch the bike could emerge as a strong competitor against Kawasaki Ninja 250/300, KTM RC390, Yamaha YZF-R25 and the R3. Honda may showcase the production variant at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show.

Going by the images, the upcoming Honda CBR 250RR have been given dual tone shades in red and black. The bike gets white projector headlamps and CBR 250RR stickering. Apart from LED strips on the fairing, the bike also gets protruding leaf shaped rear-view mirrors. The underbelly exhaust system is also something to look out for.

Honda shall reportedly imbibe a powerful parallel twin engine inside the trellis frame. The front fork may get an upside down design that blends with the bike's sharp style. For better control the bike comes loaded with petal disc brakes. The newly released rendered image by sources claims to get interested customers closer to the production model.
