The Indian auto market is set to witness few facelift launches in the next few months, as a number of top car makers have lined up interesting plans for 2013. For instance, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) Limited, General Motors, Honda and BMW amid others, have all lined up one or more revamp models for launch in the country this year.
Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest passenger car maker, has revealed intentions to introduce its reworked 2013 SX4 model in the domestic car market. The new SX4 facelift is expected to come trimmed with a number of cosmetic changes in both exterior and interior attributes. Maruti Suzuki is also working towards bringing its 2013 A-Star model as well in the country somewhere in the later half this year.
Mahindra and Mahindra, the country's leading utility vehicle manufacturer, will introduce an all-new variant of its Scorpio Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in 2013. The yet-to-be launched model is expected to come powered with an improved under-the-hood configuration, along with some interesting tweaks on both inside and the outside design. The Scorpio brand is one of the company's flagship products and has an impressive fan following in the country. General Motors India Private Limited (GMIPL), the country's fifth largest passenger car maker, has also been in the news for the anticipatory launch of its 2013 Chevrolet Beat facelift in the domestic car market. Arguably, the Chevy Beat hatchback is one of the American auto giant's best selling models and accounts for its bulk of the sales on Indian turf. Many car enthusiasts are closely following the development regarding the reworked 2013 Beat hatch.
BMW India, the well-appreciated German luxury automotive maker, is all-set for the launch of its 2013 X1 facelift on February 14, 2013. Most of the domestic car aficionados are eagerly awaiting the launch of stylish compact SUV, which has become a volume puller for the German auto major on Indian turf.
