The launch of new Mahindra Scorpio is not far away. On numerous instances many online sources have managed to capture the camouflaged shots of the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio while it was being tested on Indian roads. This time around fresh images have surfaced showing the vehicle in its true form. The vehicle gets a bolder appearance this time. Unconfirmed reports also indicate that the vehicle may be launched in new variants namely - S2, S4, S6, S8 and S10. The Scorpio facelift has been one of the most awaited one in the country. The Scorpio line has always been a popular pick in the SUV segment and with the new facelifted version on cards, the sales for Mahindra is bound to hit high this festive season.
As part of fresh upgrades, Mahindra has added two new shades for the Scorpio line - Molten Red and Regal Blue. The new colors are as an addition to existing shades of Diamond White, Mist Silver and Fiery Black. If reports are to be believed, the new Scorpio is also based on 2.2-litre mHawk engine that generates about 120 PS of power with 290 Nm of torque output. No major technical changes have been implemented except for upgrades in fuel efficiency and enhanced gearbox. Pricing aspect shall only be known at the time of its launch.
The new Scorpio from Mahindra gets refreshingly new DRL’s with sharper designed grill and wind splitters. On the sides the vehicle almost looks the same except for tweaked rear view mirrors. As for features, the new Scorpio shall get touch screen enabled infotainment system and climate control AC system. The upholstery has been tweaked to render it an upmarket look.
