The TVS XL 100 was launched in last quarter of 2015 in Uttar Pradesh followed by its launch in Tamil Nadu last month. Apart from these two, TVS has now introduced the XL 100 moped across six new markets namely Pondicherry, Kerala, Jharkhand, Andaman Nicobar, Uttarkhand and Bihar. The TVS XL 100 moped is offered for Rs 29,914 (Ex-showroom, Trivandrum).
The TVS XL 100 is powered by 99.7cc air-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke engine that generates about 4bhp of power at 6,000rpm and 6.3Nm of torque at about 3,500rpm. The moped is capable of attaining a top speed of about 60km/h and deliver a decent mileage of about 67km/l. The moped is available in interesting shades of Grey, Black, Blue, Green and Red.
The TVS XL 100 offers an impressive payload capacity of about 130 kg even while it weighs about 75kgs. For control it comes with 80mm of drum brake in front, while the rear comes with 110mm drum brake. Comfortable ride is ensured by telescopic spring type hydraulic fork and swingarm with hydraulic shocks.
