TVS Apache, in terms of popularity, by far, is the most famous model produced by its manufacturer and has a huge fan following, especially among youngsters. A brilliant combination of speed and style, TVS Apache has created a niche for itself in a market dominated by the Bajaj Pulsar, the undisputed king in the segment. This bike comes in three variants, which includes one 160 cc and two 180 cc versions (with ABS and without ABS).

Talking about the TVS Apache RTR 160 first, it is, obviously, the better marketed product of the two and is loved by youngsters. The striking design of this bike is highly attractive and its features make a superb package. Beast inspired headlamps that have pilot lamps and LED lights give this bike a sharp look. The rear of this bike comprises a muscle tail cowl that has a radical design and chiselled tail body. Muscled tank for improved aerodynamics and muscled engine cowl add both style and utility to TVS Apache RTR 160.

This bike is powered by a 4-stroke 160 cc engine that has a single cylinder and is capable of generating an output of around 14.2 bhp. It has a best in class power to weight ratio and can reach a maximum speed of 118 kmph. For all these reasons combined, TVS Apache RTR 160 is perfect for youngsters who want a stylish yet economical bike.

TVS Apache 180 is takes the model to another level, giving it more power and acceleration. The design remains pretty much the same but the mechanical configuration gets better for Apache aficionados. The 180 cc engine powering this bike is mated to a Wet Multi Plate clutch, which makes for excellent transmission. This engine is capable of churning an output of around 17.03 bhp and like its lower version, has best in class power to weight ratio.

The third variant is same as the second save the addition of Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) that makes for much higher solidarity and stability while riding. Since it can reach a top speed of 124 kmph and generates excellent power, having ABS in the bike becomes quite handy, especially in non-conducive traffic conditions. Precision levels, accuracy and braking convenience increase with the presence of ABS in the TVS Apache 180, thereby making this bike a superb buy for anyone fascinated with both style and technology.
