Everyone had their own unique way of celebrating this glorious day, which commemorates the progress India has made as a nation and salutes to all heroes who laid their lives to get the country freedom. While some spent the day watching patriotic movies and others flew kites, a group of motorcycle enthusiasts called Riders Association of Triumph or RATs, saluted the country in their own unique style. This group of bikers, who owned Triumph motorcycles, rode across the entire nation, covering some of the major cities.

According to sources, this incredibly Independence Day Rally saw the participation of around 150 people who were a part of the RATs group. As per a report by Motoroids, the main aim of choosing these cities was the cultural representation they have and thereby project the motto, “Unity in Diversity”. Managing Director of Triumph Motorcycles India, Vimal Sumbly, spoke on the glorious occasion and what this campaign meant to the firm.

“15th August is the most defining day in the entire history of India! A true Indian is moved by the nationalist fervor that grips the country and loves to join in the celebration. We at Triumph Motorcycles also wanted to celebrate this day and pay our tributes to the gallant freedom fighters. And we saw no better way to express our feelings but to do what we like doing the best, and that is to ride! It was great to see the enthusiasm from our customers and dealers who have effectively made this ride a success. We are proud to say that we rode on a Triumph and we rode on Independence Day! ,” he said.
