      Toyota showcases hybrid concept cars at 2012 Beijing Motor Show

      Toyota Motor Corporation, the leading Japan based auto giant is spearheading towards capturing the one of the most diverse economies of the world, China with the grand showcase of its three new concept vehicles at the ongoing 2012 Beijing Motor Show.

      The automaker has revealed that these models have been developed exclusively for the Chinese buyers with a view to providing them with the experience of driving a hybrid vehicle made within their own nation. Mr Akio Toyoda, President & CEO, Toyota Motor Corporation, said, "I want the people of China to be able to experience the beauty of hybrid technology through a hybrid car born in China."

      Toyota Yundong Shuangqing concept vehicle is the hybrid sedan while the Toyota Dear Qin comprises of a compact sedan and a hatchback. The styling of the concepts emphasizes on the keen concentration towards the designing cues with an elegant tapering on the front with slit appearing headlamps, innovative grille looks and smooth creases around the front fenders.

      Toyota had earlier released the enigmatic images of the concept cars that are said to be loaded with a power packed gas electric hybrid engine, which has been completely formulated at the company’s R & D centre located in China.

      At the motor show, the company is currently showcasing 38 production and concept version cars and is aiming to introduce more electric and hybrid vehicles in the Chinese auto market that is being fancied by the buyers in the country.
