Japanese carmaker Toyota has been thrilling the domestic market for quite a while now with its interesting fleet of vehicle in the domestic market. To further thrill the local customers, the carmaker has been recently spotted undergoing road test indicating on a possibility that the Rush compact SUV may be launched sometime soon in India. The vehicle has been spotted undergoing road test in Kolhapur, Maharashtra.
In the international market, the SUV is powered by 1.5-litre petrol engine that is capable of generating about 107 PS of power with about 141 Nm of torque output. The decently powered engine has been mated to optional four-speed automatic gearbox apart from the manual 5-speed gearbox. The specification for the Indian market has not been revealed yet and may be known at a later date.
Speaking of dynamics, the international spec reads as 4,420mm length, 1,745mm width, 1,740mm height and wheelbase of about 2,685mm. Apart from the Rush compact SUV, Toyota has also been working on its Innova MPV facelift trim that is also due for launch sometime soon.
