      Toyota launches upgraded Auris hatchback in Japan

      Toyota Motor Corporation, the Japanese auto pioneer, has brought the new rendition of the highly popular Toyota Auris compact hatchback to the Japanese shores. The completely revamped Auris hatchback available only through Netz (Network of Energetic Teams for Zenith) dealers is sheer example of the company’s endeavour of effectively blending class leading styling with highly elevated performance aesthetics, setting up a new level in the hatchback segment.

      The major improvements fabricated in the new Toyota Auris comprises of a 55mm height reduction for reduced centre of gravity, improved driving performance and comfort tested during the rigorous test sessions conducted in Europe along with an added enhanced ‘RS’ sport grade.

      On the exteriors, the all new Toyota Auris ensembles bold character lines and deeply bordered frames depicted by the side view along with the protruding bumper openings adds to a new zest and dynamism to the refined appeal.

      The interiors, however, appear more spacious, luxurious and comfortable and the car is available with panoramic roof as an optional feature on the inside. The driver seats have been grounded by 40mm for convenient driving and the steering wheel has been angled aptly for the sportive riding feel.

      On the safety perspective, the new Auris hatchback is offered with optional SRS side airbags, curtain shield airbags, seat belts with pre-tensioners, force limiters and Whiplash Injury Lessening (WIL) concept seats. The Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and the Traction Control (TRC) is available as standard features for greater vehicle stability and control.

      Toyota Motor Corporation has affirmed that the redesigned Auris will be assembled in its Takaoka plant and is missioned to clock sales of at least 2,000 units per month in Japan.
