Toyota Kirloskar Motors, the Indian subsidiary of Japanese auto giant Toyota, is showcasing the concept versions of its EMR (Etios Motor Racing) series in Bangalore at its Ravindu Toyota and Nandi Toyota. Besides EMR series, the company is also conduction a number of other motor sports activities, there.
The all new sporty version of Etios, which was first unveiled at the Delhi International Auto Expo 2012, is a part of company’s efforts to reach out more and more young buyers. The other motor sport activities to attract the visiting customers including racing simulators, children's automotive learning area, remote controlled cars with racing tracks, and many more.
While speaking on the matter, Mr. Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director of Toyota Kirloskar Motor said, "Motorsports is gaining popularity in India, commanding a growing audience among the young, educated and dynamic; the demographic that the Etios Brand also reaches out to. We would like to take this opportunity to promote motorsports in India through EMR and capitalize on our global motorsport heritage.” He added, “I am sure once we are done with the training programme and the EMR Series we will have a few world-class drivers representing not only Toyota Motorsports but our country as well."
