The Innova Crysta from Toyota has been a hotseller in the MPV segment right from the day it was launched in the country. To take things to the next level, the automaker plans on introducing the Crysta Touring Sport next month in India. The new trim will continue to be powered by the existing engine options. Changes made will be limited to cosmetic upgrades. It is believed that the upcoming model in India is already marketed as Venturer in Indonesia.

The Innova Crysta Touring Sport will be based on the current top-spec ZX variant. The trim will get interesting body cladding on the bumpers, wheel arches as well as side skirts. A bit of chrome is also expected to be offered on the grille and ORVMs. The upcoming model will continue to ride on 205/65 R16 tyres, but might get blackened alloys this time for that sporty appeal. Inside, we expect to see premium leather upholstery, touchscreen infotainment system and TFT multi-information display. Additionally it might also get Touring Sport embossed floor mats and other unique detailing.

Reports indicate that the upcoming Innova Crysta Touring Sport might only be offered in six-seat version. Under the hood, it will continue to be powered by 2.7-litre petrol and 2.8-litre diesel engines which generate 164bhp/245Nm and 172bhp/360Nm, respectively. Toyota might offer the Touring Sport as a limited edition model which might cost an additional Rs 50,000 – Rs 70,000 over the current Crysta ZX price.
