Toyota Innova Crysta confirmed to be launched in three variants

The Innova Crysta has caught the fancy of many MPV lovers in the country. Ahead of its official launch in the first week of May, an e-brochure has been leaked that clearly states that the Innova Crysta will be offered in two engine options – 2.4-litre and 2.8-litre option. It further goes on to state that the upcoming vehicle will be offered in three variants – GX, VX and ZX.

Toyota Innova Crysta Variants leaked

The Innova Crysta with a 2.8-litre diesel engine generates about 172bhp and 360Nm of torque, while the 2.4-litre diesel generates 147bhp of power and 343Nm of torque. Both the engines are compatible with the Euro V norms. A five-speed manual transmission is offered in GX and VX variant, while a six-speed automatic gearbox is offered as standard in the top-end ZX variant and is optional in the base GX variant.

Based on variants, the Innova Crysta will be offered with features like an auto-closing tailgate, automatic climate control, powered driver’s seat, one touch tumble for second and third row seats, front seat with easy rear slide, seven-inch audio system with navigation, ABS with EBD, BA, airbags, start/stop button and a smart entry system. More details about the vehicle will be known post its official launch. On the pricing aspect we expect that the vehicle will be priced higher than the regular Innova model.
