Recently, Toyota Kirloskar Motor introduced its 50th U Trust used car showroom in Mallapuram, Kerala. In response to queries regarding the same, officials said that the auto maker is aiming to increase the number to 65 by the end of this year, establishing its presence in about 53 cities. With these outlets, customers can exchange their old cars and purchase new ones, along with availing additional discounts. According to company claims, these outlets offer 203 quality checks, apart from giving one year's warranty. Finance options and genuine parts are also available at these outlets.
Based in Kerala, the 50th U Trust used car showroom is an independent facility. It aims at providing a conducive platform for the sale and purchase of second hand cars. This facility gives a chance to potential customers for exchanging an old car from any brand for a new Toyota vehicle, which allows them to upgrade. It also lets customers who are interested in exchanging their cars for second hand Toyota vehicles that are competitively priced. In addition to these services, the outlet also provide genuine Toyota accessories.
N. Raja, Senior Vice President (Marketing) at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said “The used car business is a part of our value added services offered to our customers. The market for used cars is growing at a rapid pace and plays an important part in attracting new customers and retaining existing Toyota customers. We aim to provide our customers a Toyota QDR experience and treat them at par with the new car customers as a result of which the customers can buy Toyota Certified used vehicles which are eligible for a warranty up to 1 year/15,000 km (whichever occurs earlier) across Toyota dealer network. Certified vehicles pass through 203 point quality inspection check. Additionally, the customers can avail of up to three free labour services at all Toyota dealerships.”
Adding further, he said that the company is focusing on expanding its network of U Trust outlets across the country. With this, the company feels it would be able to reach to a wider client base in the country and subsequently, allowing customers to gain the Toyota U Trust experience.
