The Corolla sedan from Toyota has always been a a good choice in the upmarket sedan segment across the globe. The sedan stands true to its performance and safety claims. Recently, Toyota had launched Corolla Altis at an attractive price tag of about Rs. 11.99 Lakhs, whereas the diesel version is priced at about Rs 13.7 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Corolla Altis is offered in five petrol trims– J(S), G, G-CVT, GL and VL (CVT) and four diesel trims- DJ, DJ(S), DG and DGL.
The 11th generation sedan is stated to be powered by 1.8 litre VVTi gasoline motor coupled to a super CVT-i with 7 speed sequential shiftmatic with the newly introduced “Paddle Shift”. Diesel range has been packed with a 1.4 litre I 1 ND D-4D diesel powertrain with Variable Nozzle Turbo, & Intercooler paired with a 6 speed manual transmission. The New Corolla Altis is available in 7 exciting colors including White Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Mica Metallic, Grey Metallic, Blue Metallic, Champaign Mica Metallic, Super White II and Celestial Black.
The newer version of Corolla Altis gets cyber carbon piano black instrument panel cluster, a new three spoke steering wheel with Bluetooth control, a newly designed optitrion meter with illumination and chrome inside door handles. An increased wheelbase by 100 mm offers a roomier cabin, offering ample leg space to the passengers sitting at the rear. A host of new comfort features have been bestowed on the new Corolla Altis including rain sensors, navigation(Provided with “New” 7.0 LCD Touch screen and voice command enabled Audio with USB, Bluetooth, Audio), segment first rear reclining seat, rear sunshade, rear reading lamp, rear power socket, driving position has also been improved.
