The partnership between two strong automaker will bring-in mutual benefits. Toyota’s global leadership in manufacturing and technology will gain from Suzuki’s strength in manufacturing small cars, especially in the Indian market. As for Suzuki, it will help them strengthen their knowledge on technological developments. Moreover, this will also help them achieve a high degree of localisation.

Along with ensuring mutual supply of products and components, the companies will also collaboratively work towards developing technology for environment, information technology and safety. The partnership will also bring in more employment opportunities in the country as well as open up scope for exports from the country. This might also mean that in the future, feature loaded cars will also be attractively priced to stay ahead of the competition.
