      The month when festive season kick starts also sees a sudden rise in demand for new cars in the country. Most potential carbuyers wait for this auspicious period as it also brings in additional benefits and newer options to choose from. Just yesterday, BMW had launched its two premium performance SUVs namely X5 M and X6 M in the country, while in affordable hatchback segment Toyota has just launched the new Toyota Etios Liva. In the coming days top three vehicles to look forward to are -

      Maruti Suzuki Baleno

      The Baleno hatchback from Maruti Suzuki has been one of the most awaited vehicles in the hatchback segment. Interested customers may not have to wait for too long as the vehicle is likely to go on sale from 26th October. Bookings are however open and interested customer can opt for one by paying a token booking amount of Rs 25,000. The Baleno hatchback would be available in petrol as well as diesel engine options. The petrol trim shall be powered by 1.2-litre VVT engine that would generate about 74bhp of power with 190nm of torque. It would be offered with five-speed manual transmission, and if reports are to be believed it could be offered with SHVS technology in future too.

      The Abarth Punto Evo is one pure performance oriented charmer from the Italian automaker. Termed as the country's most powerful hatchback, the Abarth Punto Evo would be powered by 1.4-litre T-Jet turbocharged unit that generates an impressive 145bhp of power. Dealers have already started accepting the bookings for the vehicle and is expected to be launched sometime next week. Apart from a sporty appeal, the vehicle would be loaded with all modern safety and convenience features.

      The Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV is one model to look out for this month. Expected to be launched on 21st October, it would emerge as strong competitor to the likes of Ssangyong Rexton and Fortuner in India. The SUV shall feature a 2.8-litre Duramax, four-cylinder engine that would generate about 197Bhp of power. Loaded with all modern safety and convenience features like Hill-Start Assist, panic brake assist, anti-lock braking system, cornering brake control, Hill-Descent Control, electronic stability control, and much more.
