The recently launched Maruti Suzuki Celerio is a facelifted model of the existing car launched three years ago. The powertrain remains the same, while a few cosmetic changes have been made to the hatchback giving it a refreshed look. Here are the four most important changes on the 2017 Celerio.
New grille and bumper - Maruti Suzuki has altered the front bumper with new air intakes and fog lamp housings. The grille also gets the honeycomb mesh pattern with a chrome slat.
Reworked rear bumper - The Celerio still retains the same look as the previous model, but there are some changes at the back. This is evident in the reworked bumper, which has been sculpted with new lines.
Refreshed cabin - The interior now comes in a dual-tone black and beige dashboard. The seats adorn new fabric with an attractive pattern to add to the appeal.
Safety - The car now gets a driver-side airbag as standard across all trims. The carmaker has also added a seat-belt reminder and is now offering optional passenger airbags and ABS with each variant.
