(M&M), the country's leading utility vehicle maker, has started a new trend in Indian automobile industry by launching first ever smart app for its XUV500 Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV). The exclusive Mahindra XUV500 BLUE SENSE® app lets one control all features of the vehicle's infotainment system, Automatic Climate Control (ACC), fuel consumption statistics and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
The trend of exclusive smart phone applications is slowly picking up in the country, with many top auto players making some immense progress in this regard. Premium luxury car makers have developed their own custom made smart apps, such as Ferrari, BMW and Maserati amongst others.
Maserati, the Italian luxury sports car maker, has designed its exclusive app called 'Maserati' available on Android, iPad and iPhone platforms.
