      Top 5 spy-shots of India-bound cars

Car manufacturers put cars through comprehensive tests in real world before they GO on sale. This also gives us a glimpse of what the future has in store for us. We bring you a list of five India-bound cars that were spotted testing in September -

      Skoda Superb facelift

The Skoda Superb facelift was recently spotted undergoing load testing in Europe. While the overall profile is the same, there are a few visual updates including the front grille, which was heavily camouflaged. Also new would be the plug-in hybrid powertrain borrowed from Volkswagen.

      Mercedes-Benz A-Class sedan

A new Mercedes-Benz sedan will fill the void between the A-Class hatchback and the CLA. Based on the same MFA front-wheel-drive platform, this sedan will be the production version of the A-Class sedan and will feature a conventional roofline unlike the swooping coupe-like roof of the CLA.

      Lexus RX three-row

Toyota is going to unveil a new three-row version of the Lexus RX. There are a few visual tweaks including a flatter roof and revised tail gate design. While the wheelbase is the same, the extra overhang will help accommodate the extra row of seats. The new version will be positioned against the Volvo XC90.

      Mercedes-Benz CLS

The Mercedes-Benz CLS is due for a generation update, and here is what the new car will look like. It continues to sport the low profile and the radical swooping roofline, though the front fascia now draws inspiration from the AMG GT sports car. Inside, the cabin is expected to be inspired by the new E-Class.

      Jeep Wrangler facelift

The Jeep Wrangler facelift was recently spotted testing in Europe, featuring a few aerodynamic tweaks along with a fixed windshield and a slightly longer front end. Unlike what was previously reported, the Wrangler will continue to get a soft-top variant with two and four-doors, with the optional three-piece removable hardtop.
