      Tickets for Indian Grand Prix went on air with reduced prices

      The sale for second Indian Airtel Grand Prix tickets has been commenced by Jaypee Sports International Limited (JPSI), which will be organised at the Buddh International circuit in Greater Noida. Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of JPSI, Sameer Gaur issued the first ticket to Kumar Sangakkara, the captain of Deccan Chargers and his team at a ceremony organised at the international racing circuit.

      In order to lure a large number of F1 fans, JPSI has reduced the prices of main stand this year by Rs. 5000 against the price charged in last year. By paying Rs. 30,000, F1 aficionados will be provided with an opportunity to witness clear operations on the start/finish of race and the pit lane during the entire racing weekend, which is scheduled between October 26th and 28th. The ticket of main stand also includes a cover charge for food and beverages worth Rs. 3000. However, if the individuals are only interested in watching the mega race on October 28th, JPSI has also offered limited tickets worth Rs. 20,000 for the same. It must be noted that the cost of ticket is exclusive of parking charges, which are to be paid additionally at the time of buying the tickets.

      The early ticket purchasers for the entire weekend will be provided with free BIC merchandise. The cheapest ticket of F1 race for the entire weekend is of Rs. 3500, while its upgrade version is available for Rs. 6500. The ticket for Star stand is priced at Rs. 8,500, whereas the charge of Premium stand is Rs. 14,000.
