With just weeks remaining for Volkswagen to launch the Jetta sedan, the dealers have already reportedly begun accepting the bookings for the vehicle at a token about of Rs. 1 Lakh. The vehicle had been first showcased at 2014 New York Motor Show. As part of fresh upgrades, the vehicle spots mile makeover to its exterior as well as interior section.
The sedan would continue to be available in petrol as well as diesel trims. The petrol version shall continue to be powered by 1.4-litre petrol, whereas the diesel version shall be powered by 2.0-litre engine. As for the pricing aspect it is likely to be priced slightly higher than the current version on sale. As part of fresh upgrades on the exterior front, the vehicle gets features like restyled headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lamps, new fog lamp enclosures, new alloy wheels, LED tail-lamp cluster and modified bumper. As for the interiors, it gets three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, new music system with piano black surrounds and fresh new upholstery to render it a modern look.
