The festive fervour for the Indian Formula One Grand Prix is on an upswing and CarTrade has gathered some useful points, in order to enjoy the global motor sporting event to its full extent.

The 2012 Formula One Airtel Indian Grand Prix has been organised to take place from October 26 to October 28, 2012. Hence, the Indian motorsport enthusiasts will have three nerve clinching and adrenaline pumping days of high speed action. The Formula One World Championship is the world's most expensive event and is a new concept for a majority of Indian audience. However, considering the immense success of the 2011 Indian Grand Prix, the technically driven sport seems to be picking up a lot of admirers in the country.

Since a big fraction of the spectators might be watching the Indian Grand Prix for the first time, there are some noteworthy prerequisites one must keep in mind before going to watch the world spectacle live. The Buddh International Circuit (BIC) situated in Greater Noida near New Delhi has been chosen as the official venue for the the 2012 Formula One Airtel Indian Grand Prix.

First of all, the final race has been scheduled to start at 1500 hours on October 28, 2012 and the afternoon will have plenty of help from the sun towards scorching the BIC with heat. Therefore, a proper sunscreen lotion or spray, umbrella, cap or hat, sunglasses and a water bottle are a must towards enjoying the race fully. It is very easy to get burned on the track as the Picnic Stand / Natural Stand of the BIC lack full roof. Water bottles are available at the venue but its always better to come prepared.

Don't forget to bring a decent noise cancellation headphones as the constant ear-drum splitting buzzing of the Formula One cars can give a headache to any person along the course of the event.

For the die hard fans of the global motor sport who don't wish to miss a single action, a decent camera with a huge memory and a tripod. Take out the sports photographer in you and capture each of the nerve cracking overtakes and accelerations (a F1 car can zoom from 0-200 kmph in less than 5 seconds).

Last but not the least, don't forget to bring your ticket as the trip from your home to Greater Noida could be a very long ride.
