Mercedes Owned super luxury brand Maybach is now the latest name eyeing the Indian market. Maybach, which was previously launched in India in 2004, is now re-entering the Indian auto market on February 1st. Earlier, the brand couldn’t create magic here in view of its comparatively high pricing, but now clearly the market has changed.

Top officials of Mercedes India, including MD & CEO, India Mr. Peter Honegg expressed their excitement describing the new Maybach series as “The Unique handmade cars which will surely fit to Indian market and conditions”. The launch of the Maybach in India will also mark Mercedes Benz's 125th birth anniversary.

Maybach 62S is going to be the very first model of the portfolio to be launched here, with a cost of around Rs 7 crore. This super luxury vehicle will be competing directly with cars like Rolls Royce Phantom, Rolls Royce Drophead, Lamborghini Murcielago, Bentley and similar super luxuries.
