In fact, some of the most memorable moments of my career have been on the Fireblade - from TT wins to this year in the World Endurance Championship. Jonathan Rea, the super racer riding for the Castrol Honda World Super bike team commented; "I feel like I have grown up with the Fireblade. It's such an iconic machine and it's an unbelievable feeling being the man to actually reveal the latest version. It really looks fantastic and I can't wait to get my hands on it."

The 2012 CBR1000RR Fireblade carries a refreshing styling package, with a revised nose and a layered tail section adding further class to its appearance. The advancements have offered a bolder and an agile look to the lately manifested CBR1000RR.

There are certain features that have been introduced for the first time in any production bike. The advanced new rear shock that uses a double-tube design is one such affixment. The 2012 CBR1000RR also displays inverted 43mm telescopic front forks with Showa's Big Piston technology. The forks ensure improved damping, increased front tyre grip and better balance, when brakes are applied by the rider.

The fuel injection has also undergone changes, with the latest fuel injection settings for the 999cc in-line-4 engine, making the ride more smooth and comfortable, especially, at smaller throttle openings.

In addition, the CBR1000RR Fireblade gets the all-new 12-spoke cast aluminium wheels that look impressive.

The latest introduction by Honda has been equipped with a multi-function LCD instrument panel that comprise a lap timer, gear position indicator and a tachometer with four modes of display.

Thus, Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade can undoubtedly be considered as a consummate super bike and the possibility of its launch in India, in the coming time, cannot be ruled out.
