      The much awaited Bike Festival of India (BFI) has successfully commenced in the nation with its National Safety Ride program. This mega-event, which is a joint venture of Event Capital and Rhiti Sports Management, is a step towards spreading the need for safety awareness among riders of the country. The National Safety Ride is the inaugural event of BFI and it was given a flag-off by the renowned cricketer of India, Ishant Sharma. The main program of BFI will be conducted in the famous Buddha International Circuit in Greater Noida during 4th and 5th October. Experts are of a belief that such an event will be beneficial in promoting road safety among people in a unique manner and will also prove to be a platform for the bikers to exchange their views.

      The National Safety Ride program is being led by Triumph Motorcycle India Private Limited as the official partner. A total of 6 male and 3 female riders will be cruising through national roads on the iconic Triumph Thunderbird Storm and Triumph Speed Triple models, respectively. With the main objective of road-safety awareness, these riders will be marking their journey through 8100 km of country roads in a span of almost 30 days. The National Safety Ride program will be covering all the major cities of India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Cochin and Chandigarh. All of the 9 riders will be taking halts at the Triumph dealerships located in the aforementioned cities and will be interacting with the avid bikers of the locality.

      During the flag-off ceremony, cricketer Ishant Sharma quoted, “I have been a biking enthusiast since long and Bike Festival of India is the perfect platform to foster a strong biking culture in India, having said that it is also very important cognizant towards the safe biking awareness in the country.” In the same reference, the Chief Managing Director (CMD) of Rhiti Sports Management, Mr. Arun Pandey said, “31st August is a very important day for us as it is our National flag day and the BFI National Safety Ride is a tribute to our flag. Through BFI National Safety Ride we aim at strengthening the biking culture in India, and most importantly safe biking and use of helmets as it can save your life. The youth of our country form an integral part of the biking community and play a crucial role in spreading the awareness on abiding the safety norms.”

      The coming days will witness the following riders driving on Indian roads an trying to promote the aspects of safety. Such an event will certainly benefit the road network of the country and will provide the requisite driving knowledge to the several riders.
