      The all new Toyota Etios and Liva facelifts - What's new?

      Global automotive biggie Toyota has been a strong brand in the Indian market. The Etios sedan has been a hotseller in its segment and the Liva hatchback has also been performing decently well in its segment in terms of sale. With festive season moods in full swing in the country, Toyota has launched the facelifted versions of both Etios sedan and Liva hatchbacks. The new Etios sedan has been launched for Rs. 5.74 Lakhs, whereas Etios Liva hatchback has been launched for Rs. 4.76 Lakhs.

      At the launch event, Mr. N Raja, Senior Vice President & Director (Sales & Marketing), Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. said, “We launched Etios in 2010 and since then have been constantly enhancing the product with upgrades, limited editions and variants. The Etios line up over the years has grown and catered to customers with varied demands. The All New Etios with its premium look is designed to provide a true sedan experience. Most of us spend long hours commuting every day. A car seems to be our second home. The All New Etios Liva is aimed at offering the best of comfort and space of a home. We would like to thank our customers for their appreciation and hope to create more customer delight with these latest introductions in the lineup. The new models have been launched to provide product excitement during the festive season.”

      The new Etios sedan shall be available in Petrol as well as diesel variants. The petrol trim continues to be powered by 1.5 Liter engine, whereas the diesel trim shall be powered by 1.4 Liter engine. The Liva hatchback is also available in petrol and diesel trims. The petrol version shall be powered by 1.2 Liter engine, whereas the diesel version is powered by 1.4 Liter engine.

      Speaking about new features, the vehicles come with new standard feature across it range with a dual front SRS airbags. The ORVM’s are electrically adjustable and the door handles have received chrome inserts. The interiors have received premium quality upholstery and height adjustable driver’s seat. Reverse parking sensors have also been added for further convenience. The instrument cluster has received bigger multi-info LCD display along with seatbelt, door ajar and headlamp buzzer.
