The American electric car manufacturer will be sending an over-the-update (OTA) fix for a recall related to the front passenger-side airbag module issue. The company found this issue during a routine check and a fix was readied within a few days.
Tesla hasn't revealed the number of affected cars but went on to say that no customers have faced any problem with this issue. The affected owners will receive an email detailing what they need to do, but the over-the-air update is automatically installed; drivers need only download the update. Till this issue is fixed, Tesla has advised its customers to avoid the front passenger seat.
