Tata Motors is on a launch spree for last one year, in 2013 we saw several new and facelifted cars of Tata, and as soon as we entered the 2014, the home-grown automajor launched the power-steering equipped Nano Twist. Now the company might unveil or announce the launch of the Vista Falcon hatchback and a sub four-meter saloon on 3rd February, just four days before the Auto Expo. Both the cars are based on the Vista platform, on which the current generation Vista and Manza are built.

The original names of the new hatchback and sedan are yet to be announced, but they are codenamed as Falcon 4 and Falcon 5 respectively. The Falcon 4 will be a new variant added to the Vista line-up, the Falcon 5 will be launched in the fast growing compact sedan segment to rival Honda Amaze and Maruti Swift Dzire. Both the cars will be offered with an option of two engines- a 1.3-litre multijet diesel and a 1.2-litre turbochraged petrol mill. While the diesel engine is the same doing its duty to the existing Vista and Manza, the 1.2-litre petrol engine will be based on the Xeta engine.

With an aim to attract young buyers, Tata Motors has given some very refreshing cosmetic alterations to the exteriors and interiors all new Falcons. And if Tata Motors gets successful in pricing these vehicles well, there is no denying that these two products are very potent. We are expecting both the cars to be priced around Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom).
