      Tata Vista D90 launched with segment defining features

      Tata Motors has introduced a new premium hatchback in the Indian auto market, named Tata Vista D90. The new model comes with best-in-class features and advancements, which are sure to strike right chords with the hearts of Indian audience. The new Vista D90 features a futuristic Touchscreen Multimedia, which has a multi-colour TFT display with an in-built GPS system. This infotainment system comes as a perfect blend of entertainment, navigation and the communication requirements.

      In order to lure Indian buyers, Tata Motors has offered its new model in five vibrant colour options, namely Ultra Violet (new), Porcelain White, Spice Red, Cavern Grey and Jet Silver. 
       
      The new model is equipped with a performance oriented Quadrajet diesel engine, which has been assimilated with Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) technology. The VGT technology optimises the overall performance of the engine at all speeds, resulting to improved fuel efficiency. This engine churns out a peak power output of 88 bhp with a maximum torque of 200 Nm, which seems as industry leading in the hatchback segment of the Indian auto sector. 
       
      With these outputs, the engine of Vista D90 offers an overwhelming mileage of 21.12 kmpl. Owing to its smooth and hassle free transmission system, the model can smoothly accelerate from initial to 100 kmph in just 15.5 seconds, further clocking a top speed of 158 kmph.

      He further said, “Our customer-centred cars are backed by customer-engaging purchase experience at our dealerships. With the Tata Vista D90, we begin 2013, with a journey that will see several Tata Motors’ product actions through the year.”
       
      The new Indica Vista D90 comes with a fully automatic climate control system, which can be operated in three different modes, namely Normal, Auto and Economy. In the Normal mode, the temperature in the car is maintained according to the user’s preference, whereas in the Auto mode, the air conditioner automatically senses the outside temperature and maintains the temperature at interiors, using its sensors. In the Economy mode, the air conditioned saves fuel by automatically changing the compressor cycle to run in economy mode. 
       
      Further, the Advanced Driver Information System and Fuel Computer are other cutting edge features of the Vista D90. The model has been packed with a small digital screen, which provides a constant update on the mileage, temperature conditions, average fuel consumption and distance-to-empty, along with a digital clock. 
       
      Also, the recently introduced model boasts of several advanced safety features, which ensures complete safety of its passengers. The new model of Tata Motors has been designed with a special NVH pack, which automatically insulates the unwanted noise of exteriors. Safety features of the model include dual front SRS airbags, crumple zones, side intrusion beams, engine immobilizer, central locking and keyless entry system. Advancements like Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) are offered as a part of standard fitment, which ensures an improved stability under all conditions.
