The recently unveiled Tata Tiago shall soon be introduced in the Indian market. This time around sources have revealed that the company shall be offering the Tiago in new petrol and diesel engine options. As per sources, the Tiago shall feature new 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol DOHC aluminum engine that comes from the Revotron family. The petrol engine would generate about 83.8bhp of power. The diesel trim on the other hand gets an all-new 1.05-litre three cylinder DOHC that generates about 69bhp of power. The engine makes use of cast iron block for improved reliability.
The Tata Tiago measures about 1,647mm in width, 1,535mm in height, 3,746mm in length, 170mm ground clearance and 14-inch wheels. Based on variants, the vehicle would get ConnectNext infotainment system with eight speakers, steering-mounted controls with Bluetooth connectivity and smartphone based navigation system. For safety, the Tiago would be offered with ABS, EBD and corner stability control.
