The Tata Nexon follows the new Impact design language that is seen on all the new age Tata products. The Nexon gets the Humanity front grille and the headlamps  have LEDs integrated in them. The hood is crowned and this makes it look stylish too. The small glass area makes it look aggressive and the Nexon does have some zing to its styling. The 195/55 R16 tyres come with alloy wheels on the top-of-the-line variant. The chrome strip on the belt-line makes it look stylish. The C-pillar is thick and it gives it a sloping look feel. The body hugging roof rails make it look stylish. The tail lamps are small in size and a chrome strip runs across the rear.

The interiors of the Nexon are simple and easy to control. The three-spoke Tata steering wheel is added to this compact SUV, and a pop-up screen is there too. This is a 6.5-inch touchscreen and there is climate control air con too. The Nexon is well equipped with a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system exclusively designed by Harman. With an 8 speakers for surround sound effect, the car also comes with intelligent features such as voice control and command recognition. Tata Motors claim that the acoustics tuning has been certified by globally renowned and seasoned Harman audio experts.

There is a rotary knob to change the drive modes. The Nexon is likely to come with fabric seats and this compact SUV could offer loads of space, and maybe even better than the competition as space has been one of the biggest USPs of Tata Motors. The boot too is likely to be huge enough to carry luggage for five people.

The Nexon will come in both petrol and diesel engines. The petrol will be a 1.2-litre turbo charged engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine sets the Nexon apart from its competitors. The diesel engine produces about 108bhp with a maximum torque of 260Nm. this will come with a six-speed manual transmission and it will come with three driving modes. The ground clearance of the Nexon is 200mm and this will add on to the comfort level. This will come with a two-wheel drive option atleast initially. It is based on the Bolt platform and it will have similar underpinnings as well.
