Tata Motors has now confirmed the launch of the Nexon SUV on 21 September, 2017. The carmaker will announce the variant-wise prices of the vehicle then.
Bookings have begun today as dealerships have slowly started to receive display units. However, test drives might still take some time to commence. We were waiting for the Tata Nexon's launch ever since its debut at the 2016 Auto Expo. After much delay, it will now finally take place next week.
The Tata Nexon is an important product for the carmaker. It will mark the company’s foray into the rapidly growing compact SUV segment in India. The Nexon will be available in a set of petrol and diesel powertrain options mated to a six-speed gearbox. AMT options will be added next year. This Vitara Brezza and EcoSport rival is based on Tata's new 'Impact' design philosophy and boasts of many segment-first features too. We are expecting it to be priced between Rs 6.5 lakh to Rs 11.5 lakh.
