      Tata Nano receives overwhelming response in Nepal, 352 units booked in just 10 days

      Nepal, the second auto market after Sri Lanka where small car Tana Nano has been launched, has already started a rush in the bordering country with 352 vehicles being booked within 10 days of its unveiling.

      With Tata Nano being successful in Npeal, Tata has clearly done the right thing of introducing their small wonder in Nepal. Boosting sales have made Tata Motors to take this small yet high potential auto market seriously. The authorized distributor of Tata Nano in Nepal, Sipradi Trading Pvt Ltd, said that only 45 percent of the customers here favored Tata Nano standard while 55 percent favored Tata LX (higher cost with more facilities) and Nano CX (moderately high cost) cars.

      According to Sipradi Trading more than 8,000 queries have come regarding the Nano, since its much awaited launch, within two weeks. The authorized distributor of Tata Nano in Nepal, Sipradi Trading is very excited with the initial results and has priced the starting models at Rs 7.98 lakh since its entry in Nepal auto market on June 26 this year.

      The booking amount taken initially is Rs 10,000 for those who are interested in the Tata Nano and from thereon buyers need to pay Rs 11,111 every month as installments for the Tata Nano. Tata Nano is the cheapest car till date to be offered to the Nepalese customers with standard price being NRs 7.98 lakh or Rs 5 lakh in Indian currency.

      Sipradi Trading has also clarified on the timing perspective for delivery of the vehicles booked. The delighted company said that the cars will be available by the end of July for those who have done advance booking of the Tata Nano.
