      Tata Movus MPV launch likely by March end

      TataMotors was speculated to launch Movus MPV on March 12, 2014 earlier along with Aria facelift, however proving all speculations wrong, the company rolled out Aria face lift just a few days ago from speculated date. Tata is now gearing up to launch Movus MPV soon in the domestic market, however, there isn’t any confirmation on the launch date but it is being believed that the MPV will soon be put on sale, probably by the end of this month. Movus MPV is said to be there badged version of SumoGrande, the MPV is expected to get preeminent cosmetic changes on the exterior and interior front. The 2.2 litreVariCORmotor will be housed in the MPV motor that powers the current Safari Storme. The DiCOR motor will be removed from the line-up.

      Interiors will be refurbished and will come equipped with a number of new features including a music system with Bluetooth, USB and aux-input. Tata will also make modifications in the suspension set-up to offer improved drivability to the customers.Tata is contemplating to segregate Sumo andMovusand hence is mulling to continue offering Sumo Gold.

      Tataseems to be on a launch spree this year as it has two new products lined up for 2014. One is theTata Zest compact sedan which will be offered in both petrol and diesel engine options. The highlight of the compact sedan will be the automated manual transmission. The second new car joining Tata’s clan will be Bolt hatchback. Bolt will be a part of B segment and is expected to come with contemporary looks and offer a host of advanced features.
