      Tata Motors Zest compact sedan in Nepal, starting from Rs. 24.5 Lakhs

      Tata Motors had had the taste of success in India with their latest offering the Zest compact sedan. Now, the company has taken this model to its neighbouring country, Nepal, where the car has been launched. The ex-showroom price of this car has been tagged at 24.5 lakhs Nepali rupees for the petrol variant. The diesel variant has been priced at 30.75 lakhs Nepali rupees. Incidentally, this sub-four metre sedan is now available across the 18 outlets of Tata Motors in the country.

      The car is being offered, both in petrol as well as diesel variant in Nepal, as well. The petrol model has been provided with the 1.2-litre Revotron engine option. On the other hand, the diesel model is powered by a 1.3-litre Quadrajet mill. There is a single diesel model, which has been provided with an Automated Manual transmission. Except that model, all other variants sport a five-speed manual gearbox. The petrol model returns around 17.6 kilometres per litre, while the diesel one gives around 23 kilometres for a litre.
