      Tata Motors Unveils Zest Sedan

      The much anticipated Tata’s sub-four-meter sedan – ‘Zest’ has finally made its public appearance, which was codenamed as Falcon 5/ F5. Despite sharing the X1 platform with the Vista, the new Zest carries an entirely different personality. The sedan features a bold front façade with honey-combed grille, vertical projector headlamps and other styling elements. The rear gets a brilliant revision with new tail lamps and boot lid spoiler, which resembles to the Swift Dzire.

      The new Zest is the first-in-class to sport an advanced HARMAN infotainment system, automatic climatronic air conditioning, built-in navigation, power steering and power windows with one touch function. Tata aims to provide utmost comfort and safety to their customers, and introduced the all new Zest with ABS, EBD, dual front airbags and various other safety measures.
       
      The Zest sedan is offered in both petrol and diesel engine options. The highly-efficient and powerful Revotron 1.2T turbocharged Intercooled MPFi petrol powertrain delivers a peak power output of 83.8bhp @ 5000rpm and 140Nm of torque @ 1750- 3500rpm.
       
      The Zest petrol becomes India’s first in the segment to get an automatic manual transmission (AMT). The Fiat sourced MJD/ Quadrajet diesel unit is competent to produces two power outputs of 75bhp and 90bhp. This power-unit comes mated with a manual transmission only.
